Hello Aspirant

    If you’ve just finished your 12th standard, and are interested in  getting an engineering degree, which college, and which branch of engineering to choose can seem like the most difficult, and at the same  time, the most important decision of your life.Everthing matters if your doing engineering that your branch, your college and also sometimes your location of college also plays a major role in your future career.

Branch: It doesn't matter which branch your are in as all branches nowadays have equal scope in management or software. Also if your are in good college you need not worry about it. A brief descri-ption about each branch if you are so keen to be expert in that field.

Computer Science-If your are interested in softwares and data management stream

EEE/ECE-If you are interested in circuits/elecrical systems go for EEE and signals,communication hardware go for ECE.

Mechanical/Production-Go for it if you are passionate about design, construction and uses of machines

These are the main departments in Engineering and many other departments are developing rapidly and if your are interested in them then you can leave a comment or search for it in career360 official webpage.

Coming to college and city you will find a difference during your placements and future but it is no where were related to passion towards a subject.If you are passionate you can go higher where ever you study.

If your dream is to be a software Engineer, Interested in computers then without any doubt Opt the Computer Science department.Through this department there has been a greater scope to earn more as well as learn.


If you are interested towards the designing of Cars,Bikes and other automotives.Mechanical Engineering will help you.It is a very good branch and has good scope.you can choose ECE/EEE if you are interested towards the circuits and Electrical systems.
