Doing masters after your graduation is definitely worth if you want your career in higher studies then it is good to study. But if you want to join job immediately after your graduation then it is better not to study master's. Then you should concentrate on your career first.

You can go for a job after BE if you are not really interested in further studies , However you need a good score in engineering say more than 6.75 CGPA aggregate so that you  are eligible for the placement process in every organisation.

You package would be around Rs 4 lacs p.a but will improve further years . Otherwise you can also put up you own business related to your feild of interest.

ME is also a goo option since you will be more skilled after your completion of this course and you will get a average salary of Rs.9lacs p.a if you don't keep backlogs.

Saying about the conditions of engineers in Inda , ME is really worth it.
