when u score 245+ marks in jee mains ur rank will be between 2000 to 2500. With this rank one can get easily CSE at NIT calicut, allahabad,bhopal,jaipur or eletrical at NIT trichy,warangal,or surathkal(karnataka). or u must go for information technology at IIIT allahabad.



With 250+ in jee mains one can easily get 5 year CSE at IIIT hyderabad. U can easily get Eletrical at DTU (if he is outside delhi region).

You can expect your rank within 5000 ( may vary depending upon exact conditions).

So you can expect that you can take admission in any college ( branch may vary).

So look at your preference where you want to go and in which branch .( Look out the specific college and branch you want and see previous year cut offs.)

Although ; you score 250 marks ; so I think you will definitely do good in advanced also. So try to be in top Ranking and get good IIT.
