In India, there are very few colleges accepting NEST exam as a basis of admission. They are - 

• National Institute of Science Education and Research(NISER), Bhubaneswar
• UM-DAE Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences, Mumbai
• ITM University, Gwalior
