Programs with Honours basically means  a subject you would pursue mainly and with that subject there would be some compulsory minor subjects also which you will have to study or you can say you will have to choose one particular subject (specialization) like BA (H) English, Economics etc and you will have to study the same more elaborately and deeply and honours programs are more demanding incomparison to generic program like B.A, B.Com etc.
