The cutoff is the minimum marks or rank mendatory for the qualifying the exam. Opening and closing cutoff refers to the first and last applicant shortlisted for that particular round of counselling. Each round have different opening and closing cutoff. If an aspirant cannt get any seat in round 1, he/she can go for the next round of counselling. Hope you got your answer. Good luck.
