Sometimes when a person's disease, injury or illness affects his brain or nervous system then he is recommended to a neuropsychologist. Usually they work closely with doctors/ neurologists.

In simple terms a person giving treatment for nervous system disorders is known as a Neuropsychologist.

To become a neuropsychologist, one must complete a four years bachelor degree in psychology, biology, premed or neurology. After that to make it a full time career one must do a PhD or doctorate in psychology and training in neuropsycholgy.
