In Josaa counselling for seat allotment you need to select an option among the three freeze, float and slide.  Freeze means you are accepting the seat and you cannot change it once you freeze it. If you select float, your seat is not confirmed at that round and looks for a seat in the above the one which you got now and if there is any , you will get it in the next round. If you are selecting slide option then it will check for branch chance in the same college and result will be given in the next round
