May be you are talking about NPAT 2019 conducted by NMIMS for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. The results have been already declared.If you are one of the waiting list candidates then your chances of getting selected or not getting selected are equal halves. The waiting list is a provision specifying that you may be selected for the merit list other than the candidates who have already been rejected. Its better not to keep high expectations from such waiting lists.But whatever there may be many factors which may lead to several changes.
