Let me begin by telling you the eligibility criteria.

There are two main requirements i.e Medical and Educational.

MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS

• You must be physically fit and capable of taking up these  roles. An unaided vision is required in each eye.
• You should not be suffering from colour or night blindness. Also, you should not be over 28 years of age at the time of the course’s commencement.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• B.E./ B.Tech degree holders in mechanical or naval architecture disciplines are eligible to pursue this course.
• Minimum marks criteria may exist in the case of some institutes. Generally, the minimum eligible score for admission lies between 50-60% aggregate marks in the B.E./ B.Tech program.

The average fees for the course may lie anywhere between 2,50,000 to 5,00,000 PerAnnum depending upon the college.
