Hi

The graduate aptitude test in Engineering popularly known as the gate exam is an exam that tests the students knowledge and understanding of the subjects in Engineering and science during their ug level course. The exam is administered by indian Institutes of Technology. The exam is conducted on behalf of the department of higher education, ministry of human resource development,  government of india and national coordination board. Colleges or institutions which offer admission without MHRD scholarship for them qualifying the gate exam is a must

For appearing in the gate exam there is no age limit or no minimum percentage in their degree

The candidate appearing in the exam should have passed, in their final year or pre final of their ug degree in engineering ( btech/b.e) or in pg ( m.sc) in any of the science subjects

Candidates who have passed or pursuing their degree from other countries should be in the 3rd year or higher of their Bachelor degree in Engineering, technology, science, arts, commerce
