what happens to the two lakhs paid during mcc counseling when it is not adjusted by the fees of alloted college??

Hello Aspirant,

I hope you are doing well.

During NEET counselling, the candidates are required to pay two kinds of fee respectively:

  • Non-refundable registraton fee of INR 1000/- for UR candidates and INR 500/- for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates
  • Refundable security deposit of INR 25000/- for AIQ / Central University/ ESIC UR candidates; INR 10000/- for SC/ST/OBC/PwD; and INR 200000/- for deemed universities.

The security deposit will get refunded to the candidates after joining the alloted college. Also, refund will be generated if the candidate does not get any seat during the counselling rounds. The refund will be processed in the original account from which the payment was made in 10-15 days
