As per query, I like to suggest you that dont be confused with the aim of your life. Try to know yourself and know qhich field interests you more according to you your 10+2 stream, try to gain knowledge about that field and pursue it. Like you can go for engineering and then enter into research sector, if you had bio then you can obviously go for medical  microbiology, agriculture, biotechnology, etc. You have lots of option, all you need to do is to find the field of your interest because only this will make yoy prosper in your career.
