It's goof that you want to join Navy. The difference between AA and SSR is that in SSR you have to start your training from being a sailor whereas in AA promotion are faster within 10 years you would be a Promoted to Chief Petty Officer( CPO).

Th exam pattern involves 25 questions each of English, mathematics, science and general awareness. Question are based on 12th  standard topics only.  You are given one hour to solve 100 questions. You should make a time table and study according to it. Solving previous year questions will also help you a lot. Focus more on subjects in which you are weak and with consistency and hard work you'll be able to clear the exam.
