Hi, hope you are doing well!

For becoming a CA, you have to pursue the CA course under Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

The following are the levels of CA course offered by ICAI:-

Step 1: Foundation

This is the first stage and the entrance where, after you crack the exam, you can join the course. You have to get at least 40% in each paper and 50% in aggregate.

Step 2: IPCC

For the second stage, there are 2 groups of total 8 papers. This stage takes minimum of 8 to 10 months after the CA foundation.

One has to mandatorily complete IT and OC training(15 days each) before the intermediate results. This should be completed before starting articleship.

Step 3: Articleship

Candidate has to work for 3 years under a chartered accountant who is practicing or is in capacity to provide articles according to CA Act 1949.

Step 4: CA Final

It is the final stage of this course. There are 2 groups and 8 papers here as well.
