Hi aspirant,

As of your profile I am considering you as a class 10th student from your profile and your board to be CBSE. See the board had earlier announced that the examination will be held in two terms with equally spllited syllabus for each. The final percentage and marks would be based upon sum of marks scored in both the examination combined. So definitely you can be promoted if you do well in term 2 in the particular subject you are talking about.

Hope it helps!!

What if someone fails in term 2

Hello.

If you are talking about the terms at school, then you need to score good marks because if you fail in one subject then that might cause some trouble for you. If you are in the university level, then you can appear for improvement or back exams and clear it.
