To become a bank manager,  you first need to earn a Bachelor's Degree in either Accounting, Business Administration or Finance.

Also,  you might want to gain an experience of a minimum of 5 years as a loan officer, financial analyst or assistant branch manager.

Seek some credentials such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Certified Financial Planner).

Last but not the least,  there are some specific skills that you might want to develop like communication skills, decision making skills, client handling skills, management. Also you should have a very good understanding of the state and federal regulation of financial reporting.
