Float: Candidates acknowledge the offered situate and show that, if admission to a scholarly program of better/higher inclination in any Institute is offered, they will acknowledge it. Else, they will proceed with the as of now acknowledged scholastic program. Such applicants will be considered in ensuing rounds of affirmation.

Slide: Candidates acknowledge the offered situate and show that, if admission to a scholarly program of better/higher inclination is offered inside a similar Institute, they will acknowledge it.Such candidates will be considered in subsequent rounds of admission.

For applicants who pick the float or slide choice,  seat in a chosen college would be relinquished acknowledged by the competitor in the prior round.

Slide and float options will be available to only those candidates who are NOT offered admission to their first choice.Slide and float options are NOT available in the last round of seat acceptance.Except in the last round of seat allocation, a candidate can change from float to slide/freeze and slide to freeze by reporting at a reporting center.
