Income certificate must be attested by the tahsildar of your locality so you can attest it that would be helpful. Else make an income certificate from the tahsildar office or from lokseva Kendra of your locality and make it attested from tahsildar.

It is better to make new one to avoid any issue in counseling  and admission process.
