An internship should be done which helps your CV to shine and your skills to sharpen. From all your course subjects, whichever is your favourite, go for an internship related to that one. Find an internship nearby so that it does not take up much of your time. But in first year, I would suggest go for a "work from home" internship so that you could manage your college along with it as establishing yourself in the college in the first year is important. There is an app by the name of "Internshala" which you can find on the play store. You would be able to find a number of internships according to your interests to choose from.
