Adrarsh,

College is an educational institution. It offers secondary education or Undergraduation degrees or diplomas such as Bsc, BE, Betch, Bcom, LLB etc. Students join college after leaving the school. In India schools are moslty upto 10+2 standards and then to pursue any degree or diploma candidates join college/university. In school there are protocols and disciplines with a fear of being caught and punished. College life on the other hand, though is bound by rules, but it hardly matters for the sense of freedom that students gain in college is all about doing what you feel like. However, you will also get punished here (suspended/resticated) if you do extreme disrespect of authorities or rules. School is more about spoon feeding like study dependent on the teachers/staff but when you reach college you will have to do things yourself.

Hope I answered your query, thankyou!
