Unlike of normal rain which we enjoy due to industrialization and increased vehicle on roads has lead to pollution all over the atmosphere and these pollutants when react with water of rain makes the rain acidic. SO2 and NOX (different compounds are there) are majorly responsible for this rain. The yellowish colour of Taj Mahal was due to this rain as area around taj mahal was highly polluted.
