I would like to inform you that BARC stands for Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, for nuclear research activities. It headquartered is situated in Trombay, Mumbai, Maharashtra. It was founded by Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha in the year 1945.
And getting in BARC one should have M.Tech. degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in B. Sc. also. Additionally, eligible candidates must have passed Mathematics in Std. XII. All applicants opting to be considered based on a GATE Score.
BARC is pure central government organization while NPCIL being one of the PSUs (only 49% Govt share).
