You must know that all the engineering branches are best but you need to know that in which branch you would like to study.

CSE course will be easy throughout your 4 years but ECE will be very tough.Any branch that is integrated with electronics is named as an evergreen branch of engineering.

Electronics is still an emerging sector in India and after the “make in India” thing we see a lot of boost in this sector but day by day it’s becoming hard to survive in sector related to CSE. More efficient people with lesser salary are available to work for the company and that is why people start getting kicked out during recession but since ECE has a demand everywhere, there might be a chance that you survive the heat.

ECE has more scope in government bodies than CSE and the scope of CSE in private sectors is good. The packages for both are good depends on which organisation you get placed in.

So both have a good scope but you have to decide what task you are more interested in.

EC branch deals with how the communication of electrical parts is done (microprocessor and Ram) where as CSE branch delays with software. EC branch has good scope in government sector than CSE but CSE has good scope in private sector. Salary packages of both are good but depends on the organization you join.
