Biomolecules are the molecules synthezied by the living organism.

Example of Biomolecules includes

Carbohydrates

Protein

DNA

RNA

Steroids

Lypids

Metabolites etc. etc.

Biomolecules play an important role in sustaining the life of living organism. For example DNA is necessary for transmission of the characterists from generation to generation. Carbohydrate and protein are part of our food. Vitamins are needed to perform certain specific functions.
