Branch sliding is the option which enables the candidate to accept the alloted seat but allows the candidate to take part in subsequent rounds of counselling but for the higher branches in the same college. Means you accepts the branch which is alloted to you and you still have chances of getting higher ranked branch in the same institution or college.
