Cell is defined as the fundamental or smallest and functional unit of a living organism. It is the basic building block of organisms. Cells are basically classified into prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. Prokaryotic cells are the ones which are found in single celled organisms and do not contain free floating cell organelles. Eukaryotic cells are formed in multicellular organisms and have well formed cell organalles.
