Hello vishal,  yes Offcouse there is difference between both the certificates.  Marksheet only contains marks and grades for the all subjects.  And your personal details related to exam like exam seat number and mother name etc.  But certificate Includes all the details like school name,  subjects ect.  It indicates that you have cleared your board and you are now eligible for further education.

Hiii vishal 12th equivalent certificate is the certificate which give equal weight to 12th exam ....like polytechnic....u do polytechnic or do 11,12....both are considered as equal...
In polytechnic u study almost the equal salb which are in 12th
