Dear aspirant, CAT is the most preferred entrance when it comes to admission in top business schools. Most of the colleges consider CAT score for admissions. Same with XAT. If you don't attempt these entrance exams then you won't be eligible to take admission in many business schools. Well its not a good idea of not attempting these exams.

CAT is the most important exam for students who want to pursue MBA. This is because most of the prestigious MBA colleges in India including IIMs accept admission only through CAT exam. Besides CAT, many institutes conduct their own exams like GMAT, XAT etc. Although you may get admission without these entrance exam but you will miss a chance to score a seat in these prestigious colleges.
