Dear Saveen,

You do not need to use such emojis to get attention of the experts, as far as i know they will help you if they find your question worth answering and if they know about the solution of your question.

Now coming back to your question that what is difference between simple BCom and BCom(Hons.).

See, BCom(Hon.) gives you option to choose the specialization in a specific subject like accounting but this is not the case with simple BCom, you cannot specialize in the specific subject you have chosen.

The cutoff for BCom(Hon.) is much higher as compared to normal BCom because of the above reason I have mentioned.

You can get more detail about BCom by going through the link below.

To check the same about BCom(Hons.) you can visit the link below.

I hope this answer helps you.

All the very best!!

Hello,

The difference you would find is that B.com honours is more analytical and detailed, whereas B.com is the simpler version of it.

It lacks detailing when compared to B.com (hons).

Although both of them consists of the same subjects.

The B.com (hon) student can go for specialization in a particular subject which is not applicable in the previous course.

Hi Saveen,

B. Com & B. Com Honours , both are two different courses for same academic field but the curriculum differs in both the degrees. Both are 3 year course.
The subjects taught to the students will be same in both the courses . The B. Com student will have a study program that will have an overview of all subjects.
But in B. Com Honours ,  the final year students have the opportunity to choose a subject in which they want to specialize like accounting, finance, economics etc.
The market value of B. Com is not that high but B. Com honours is a specialization course ,  which offers you better job opportunities ahead.

I hope this helps!!!

Hello,

The Difference between BCom And BCom(Hons) is:

B.Com course is a programme with a course structured which makes student familiar with the various aspects of the commerce domain.

This programme is not valued as much in the business industry unless the students pursue a PG course after this programmes, such as MBA or M.Com.

B.Com (Hons) have a business oriented course structured to develop their business skills and provide them in-depth knowledge of the field.

It offers better opportunities and good packages than B.Com. It is valued more by experts in the industry.

Hope this information will help you.
