The OBC reservations are for the section of the Other Backward Classes sectio. They get a reservations of a 27%. The Economicaly Weaker Secection (EWS) is for that section of the 'General' classes (not for students under OBC, SC or ST) whose family income is below Rs.8 lakhs. They get 10% seats reservation. Usually Ews has a much lower cut off compared to obc and other reservations. But it can change accordingly
