What is difference between JEE mains and advanced? Is it that one has to first clear mains to take up advanced?

Yes you are right JEE mains is a selection round for JEE advance on the basis of JEE main you are eligible to take admission in nits and on the basis of JEE advance you can take admission in different iits

hi badri,

JEE EXAM is only for B.E/B.TECH students. JEE MAIN is for the students who seeking admissions in NIT's.ADVANCED  is for the IIT's admissions.the student who want iit admission,should give jee advanced after clearing jee main only.
