Post Graduate Diploma in Retail Management (PGDM-RM) - It mainly focuses on the fundamentals of retail management and marketing practices.PGDM-RM provides a thorough understanding of the concepts and processes involved in retailing and associated sectors. It covers both academic and practical aspects which is applicable for best practice in the retail business. The student learns to apply and evaluate the apt techniques that are required for successful retailing. The syllabus covers topics that involve basics of retailing, consumer behavior, sale, and marketing management, supply chain network and electronic retailing. It mainly focuses on retail management and marketing.

Whereas Post Graduate Diploma in Management(PGDM)It is a management course with more practical approach and industry oriented. The curriculum of the course is quite similar to that of MBA.It focuses on providing practical knowledge of management.
