The full form of GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test. It is an Engineering common entrance exam conducted in India for admission in masters engineering courses such as master's of Technology. It is conducted by Indian Institute of Technology. Application form fee is 1500 for all the Indian candidates. For women candidates application form fee is 750.

The candidates who have completed their graduation degree or are in the last year of completing  their degree are eligible form applying in GATE exam.
