GFTI :- Government Funded Technical Institute. 

CFTI :- Centrally Funded Technical Institute. 

GFTIs and CFTIs both are institute for engineering. Admissions for engineering in these institutes is through JEE Main Entrance Exam. The basic eligibility criteria for JEE Main is you must score at least 75% in 12th standard with Physics,  Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
