It means students whose state code of eligibility is same as the state in which the institute is located are eligible for this quota. It is reservation of seats for the students belonging from same state in which institute is located.

For Eg- If you belong from Karnataka then you will be eligible for home state quota in NIT Surathkal.

You will get benefit if you will take admission in NIT Durgapur. Seats are reserved for home state quota.

None I have studied for 10yrs in west bengal and have domicile for west bengal. But I have done my plus two from Jharkhand . So which home state will I be offered am I eligible to get home state quota in west bengal
