The mean (µ) and standard deviation (σ) for Part-A (CEED 2024) are statistical measures that indicate the central tendency and dispersion of the marks distribution obtained by all the candidates in Part-A of CEED 2024. They will be rounded off to two decimal places. They are used to calculate the cutoff marks (δ) for shortlisted candidates in each category using a formula that involves adding two times the standard deviation to the mean.
