General quota means candidates which come under unreserved open category. Some other quotas available are like scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, other backward classes, etc. To apply in Goa under ST for MBBS college, you need to get a seat on merit first of all. That is you need to par the st category cutoff which is usually lesser marks than open category ones. So you have this advantage. And then while applying for admissions, you've to mention your category, submit the documents and then you get considered under reserved category.

the usual cutoff for ST category inn government MBBS colleges of Goa is around 231 marks for the st category. So try to score 350-400 and above to ensure your seat.

Best wishes. Thank-you.
