Hello there,

Nautical Science is a multidisciplinary subject (comprising of science , mathematics and physical training) that deals with techniques and knowledge involved in navigating and operating a ship safely from one point to another. Its study is a balanced combination of theoretical and practical training. Choosing one's career in nautical science prepares one to become a deck officer. It is a three years course (degree/diploma) after which the student joins a ship as a trainee cadet.

Nautical science is course comprised of Science, mathematics and physical training. It will help you to navigate and operate ships safely. It will give you both theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge. You can do B.Sc, diploma and Gp certificate courses in nautical science, which will give you various posts in ships.
