Dear Aman, an Autonomous college or an Institution is a  college or an Institutiin that doesn't depend upon another regulatory body for its day to day activities and administrative functions. It has its own curriculum, exams, operations and administrative system not being affliated to any other regulatory body. Wjen a college or an Institution is affliated to a University, it runs according to the Universoty's rules and regulations. An autonomous college has its own administrative rules.
