Dear Aspirant,

Counselling is not like a interview,it's just that when you crack a particular exam you need to attend the counselling to give your college preference and course preference.

Counselling are arranged by the college to let students know more about the college and the course they are intrested in.So basically in counselling,student have to fill the preffered college and course according to their intrest.

It is one of the important step which lead to a proper gateway to a specific college depending upon your rank, or cut off marks of that specific year. It will help you to give you an idea of admission criteria which is decided by individual colleges, admission acceptance rates, it decides the merit scale, which will help to to predict which college you will get depending upon your marks. It totally depends on the individual college, which criteria they will choose for selection of the students.
