What is meant by free exit? Do we need to go to the college allotted for it?

Free exit means that if you get a seat in Round 1, then it is not compulsory for you to report at the college or to take admission there.

You can still join the Second round. Previously it was compulsory to report at the round 1 alloted college.

So you can join Round 2 without taking admission in Round 1 alloted college or if you have joined the college in Round 1 you are free to leave if you are getting better college in further counselling.


No, you don't need to go the college.
