Hello student ,

Menstrual cycle is the rythmeic change which occurs in the female reproductive system. This is the essesntial which is required for the production of oocytes, and for the preparation of the uterus for pregnancy. It happens when there is sloughing endometrial lining and its blood . To continue the process of menstrual cycle primordial follicles begin to develop and start the follicular phase again in hopes of a pregnancy.

This cycle is regulated by LH and FSH which are produced by the pituitary gland, promote ovulation and stimulate the ovaries to produce estrogen and progesterone .

Hope you find this helpful !

Hello,
Menstrual cycle is a regular cycle that occurs every month in a women's body. In this women's uterus grows and shed lining which could support the fertilised egg. Since the egg does not find it's mate then it leads bleading.
The Menstrual cycle occurs due to estrogen harmones in women
Thank you
