You can not get admission in government colleges through class 12th board exams marks instead you need to appear for jee mains, jee advanced and many other state level engineering entrance exams.

Earlier, most of the goverment colleges used to take admission on the basis of JEE and 12th board exam. Now MHRD has scrapped the 12th board percentage. So now it only depends on JEE marks. You should score atleast 74 to clear the cutoff. 140 marks would be somewhat a better score to get admission in govt college.
