HI, this is the general concern these days. The major difference between both is that students choose for PGDM because the institute is an autonomous body and conducts management courses and cannot offer MBA. For example MDI, XLRI.
What I mostly prefer is PGDM , though the fees is high but it is more flexible in terms of syllabus and is not bounded by any university unlike MBA.
