Hey man,
Look its totally your call whether to go for ms by research or pursue mtech but one thing i would like to suggest you if you are a money freak or jobholic person then you should go for mtech by iit ,because ms provides fewer job opportunites and ms will further let you forced to do phd as well ,
Conclusion is that you want further studies after your masters then opt ms otherwise mtech would be best.
