Firstly nit is not a exam its among indians one of the most prestigious institutes . So to get admission into any national institute of technology one must have to appear for jee mains and if he or she score more than cutoff then can apply to get seat but definitely by scoring just cutoff marks no one can get admission into any nits. You need to score atleast 60 percentage marks or a 97 or more percentile .

As well as you must have atleast 75 percent in your 12th boards.

Nit take admission through Jee mains  then you have to appear for JOSSA counselling.The joint counselling and seat allotment of Jee main 2020 will be conducted online ,while registration ,will tentatively start from the first week of july 2020.Only the qualifying candidates of jee mains 2020 will be able to participate in jee main 2020 and seat allotment .
