If you are general and you wish to go to NITs and IITs, then a least 75% required in 12 th.

Hello,
Well it depends on college to college.Most of the colleges requires around 45-60% in class 12th board exams.While if you want to become eligible for IITs/NITs/IIITs then you need to score atleast an aggregate of 75% in class 12th board exams for general category and 65% aggregate for sc/st category.

Hello Kaif,

Percentage required for Engineering admission may vary from states to States. Usually atleast 45% is required for admission in B.Tech programme. But 60% is most secure score. Because of almost every private company ask for atleast 60 % in your HSC examination. If you are determined for public sector organization then 45% is enough.
