Dear Aspirant,

Placements are not good for most of the lower IITs and also in top IITs like Delhi, placements for mechanical engineering, Mtech, was around 70%.

There is almost zero placements in colleges like ISM Dhanbad(IIT Dhanbad) in Mechanical, Mtech. Hope this gives you some idea about how the condition is.

However, if you are a talented person and have a good skill set, then you can get a good job, but the placement records are not good for mechanical.
