What is production engineering?What are the future prospects of it and which University will give the best placements?

Hi there,

Production engineering is branch of engineering which deals with the stuffs quite similar to mechanical engineering, like vehicles, levers pulleys etc.

Production engineering has not a good scope in India as it is often called as Jr. Mechanical engineering in the colleges.

Still if get this branch in the TOP IITs like Delhi, Mumbai or Kanpur etc then go for it other wise no use to opting this branch.
